Gracious Care Recovery is a DCF Licensed Outpatient Facility with a Christian based Sober Housing Program designed to provide recovery support from substance abuse and alcoholism in a faith based nurturing and structured environment.
Clients will be guided and taught essential life and recovery skills based on biblical and spiritual principles and 12 Step Programs in a setting much more tranquil and personal for the Christian individual than the traditional sober house. This environment serves to allow the client to learn and draw closer to God and prepare for life’s daily requirements upon discharge into their next phase of recovery.
Our “New Beginnings Program” serves as a true step down from an inpatient treatment level of care or as a primary structured treatment program. Clients are supervised and supported by Christian staff members who know and understand the struggles that are involved with recovery from addiction and how to remain focused on Christian values while dealing with life’s daily demands.
Sober Housing Clients reside in beautifully furnished and fully equipped homes and participate in daily 12 step meetings, church service, bible study, vocational/employment counseling and support, random urine drug screenings, and group leisure activities.
Outpatient Clients attend one individual and one group outpatient session per week as part of their substance abuse program.
Transportation is provided to all mandatory meetings, therapy sessions, church services and other activities required by our program. We also provide transportation to the supermarket, doctor appointments, job interviews and twelve step meetings based on scheduling and staff availability.
Our Primary goal is to provide a sober, nurturing and faith based structured environment for individuals who have a true and honest desire to begin a new, healthy, spiritual and productive way of living.
Our Primary Purpose is to serve God and others.
