William Atkinson

William Atkinson is the owner of Associate Recovery Communities (ARC), the first FARR accredited sober living program on the West Coast of Florida.  In operation since 2011, ARC is the combination of Tampa Bay Sober Living and The Next 24.  With over 100 beds available to our community, ARC has homes in Pinellas, Pasco, and Hillsborough counties.  William is a CCAR trained Recovery Coach (CRC), a Certified Recovery Residence Administrator (CRRA) and a Certified Recovery Support Specialist (CRSS).

William is the Executive Director of a Recovery Community Organization (RCO), Recovery Epicenter Foundation, which provides authentic peer recovery services in Pinellas and Pasco Counties and is a principal Narcan distributor throughout the region.  As well as an active board member with FARR, he is a board member of Saint Petersburg College’s Department of Human Services and the Vice Chairman of the statewide RCO, Floridians for Recovery.

In Recovery himself since February of 2006, William has developed multiple levels of care and community support throughout the greater Tampa Bay region with the mission to provide greater access to recovery services for persons suffering from a substance use disorder.
